The IWT2 group wins one of the finalist prizes of the 4th call for grants for R & D projects 2017 of the Hergar Foundation in the category of “Applied research and technology in engineering” for the project: “Prototipado rápido de aplicaciones mediante LEGO® y Componentes Web (PLEC)”.
The result of this research proposal, framed in applied research and technological engineering, will be the process of creating prototypes of web applications with LEGO® and predefined web components (PLEC). This process will allow a heterogeneous working group that incorporates experts in the development of web applications with clients, users and other experts (usability, infrastructure, marketing, sales, etc.) to develop collaboratively in a period of no more than one year. day a usable prototype of a web application.

Researchers of the group carry out several events of diffusion and scientific divulgation with technological companies to promote the transfer of knowledge and the results of technological innovation from the group to the business network.
These events take place within the context of the “Dissemination and Dissemination of Research, Technology and Innovation: Strategy to Strengthen the Business Weapons from group to the Company”. These conferences are led by our colleague Dr. Julian García García and financed by the VI Own Plan of the University of Seville in chapter III.3. AID FOR SCIENTIFIC DISCLOSURE ACTIVITIES (VIPPIT-2017-III.3).
