Doctoral Thesis defense

The next 14th of December will proceed to the public reading of the thesis entitled: A Framework for Modeling and Improving Agile Requirements Engineering, carried out by our colleague Eva Shön and led by Dr. Jörg Tomascheski and Dr. María José Escalona. The public reading will take place at 11.30 in the degree room of the ETS de Ingeniería Informática. We wish you good luck!

IWT2 has a new Doctor

On the 7th of December our colleague Geoffrey Ventalon read his doctoral thesis entitled: “The acquisition of the metaphore in the images”. The thesis has been carried out by the academic co-tutelage procedure between the University of Seville and La Université Paris 8, so our colleague Geoffrey Ventalon is already a doctor from both universities. It has been co-directed by Pr. Charles TIJUS of the Université Paris 8 and Pr. Maria José ESCALONA CUARESMA of the University of Seville. Congratulations Geoffrey !!

Talk Game of Thrones of the Projects

The next December 12th at 12.30 in the classroom of the E.T.S. of Computer Engineering will be given a talk entitled Game of Thrones of the projects that will be taught by Mr. Julián Gómez. Julián Gómez has extensive professional experience in project management and is the author, among others, of the Game of Thrones project and the blog The Laboratory of IT (http://www.laboratorioti.com/) which is is becoming a reference in the field of IT project management. Doctoral thesis presentation by Geoffrey Ventalon

The next December 7th, the public reading of the doctoral student Geoffrey Ventalon of his doctoral thesis entitled “La compréhension de la métaphore dans les images” takes place. This thesis has been directed by Dr. Charles Tijous and Dr. María José Escalona within the framework of a double degree thesis between the University of Paris 08 and the University of Seville. The thesis will be presented in Paris and in the court several international members participate to endorse the quality of it.

Telecommunications company, in collaboration with the research group IWT2, is looking for candidates with or without experience to collaborate on projects to transfer research results.
Full or half day.
Salary to be agreed as it was worth.

  • Technical requirements:
    • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and development with Java applications
    • Solid experience in FrontEnd developments (JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax)
    • Experience with API REST and WebServices
    • SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server
    • Spring Framework Experience (Security, MVC, SpringData)
    • Degree Engineer / Bachelor of Computer Science (or last year)
    • It will be valued:
  • Knowledge in Angular 4
    • Experience with GIT and Maven
    • Knowledge in Spring Boot
    • English (written and read)
    • Customer technical support experience
    • Disposition and capacity to:
    • Learn new technologies and skills
